We're Rachel and Chris, the husband-and-wife team behind Hangar Finds — a small family business based in Northern Ireland.

Hangar Finds grew from our shared fascination with aviation and a love of finding unusual things with a story behind them. What began with collecting genuine aircraft parts soon became an idea to do something more with them: preserve their history, celebrate their character and find ways for them to be enjoyed long after their original working life was over.

Today, we're involved in every part of Hangar Finds, from sourcing and researching unusual aviation salvage to designing, creating and sharing the finished pieces. It's a business built around the things we genuinely love — aviation, history, creativity and finding something extraordinary where others might not.

At Hangar Finds, we source authentic aviation salvage and give it a second life, transforming components into distinctive furniture, home décor and collectables while preserving the markings, wear and character that tell their story.

We start with the part and let its shape, history and original purpose inspire what it becomes. By reusing existing components rather than creating something new from scratch, we're preserving a small piece of aviation heritage while taking a more sustainable approach to design.
